At The Pontchartrain, all units are leased on a monthly rental basis.

Many luxury independent facilities require a large entrance fee and a monthly service fee. This entrance fee is refundable usually figured on a sliding scale based on the length of time you stay at that facility. At The Pontchartrain, we have no entrance fee. You pay a monthly rate based on the room size and services you request.

We have five different types of units, with different styles of one bedroom units as well as two bedroom units.

Every unit comes with full kitchenette, individually comfort controlled heating and cooling, 24-hour monitored emergency response system and safety grab bars. Furnished lounge areas and laundry are available on each floor. Flexible meal packages are available with services for guests and families. (See Fine Dining).

Also included is a comprehensive and flexible program of cultural, recreational, and social activities, and twice-weekly linen and housekeeping services. Our Social Director can assist you in acquiring theater, opera, sporting and cultural event tickets. Valet Parking is available to residents and their guests.
